A brief history and background of Eurospray Ltd

A brief history and background to the business
Eurospray was setup in 1998 in Glenrothes at the 10,000 sq.ft Crompton Road factory.A substantial investment was made in custom built equipment by Mike Strange and the late Bob Scott, to provide an independant, high quality professional component finishing service in both wet paint and powder coating for Industrial, Commercial and Military applications.
As quality was a prime consideration in the operation of the company, the Directors established and implemented a Total Quality System with all the necessary controls to meet the ISO 9002 requirements and achieved accreditation through Lloyds Register QA within the first 3 months of trading.

The vast experience and strong reputation Bob Scott had buillt up within the industry over the past 20 years, enabled the company to quickly attract some major customers including IBM, Dell, 3COM & Compaq Computers, NCR, BAE systems, Andrew Antenna, AGA-Rayburn, Tannoy, Ingenico, and Nacco Materials handling.

By the year 2000, the company had achieved the prestigious Fife Business of the year award. Very soon afterwards the company expanded into a further 20,000 sq.ft. factory in Rutherford Road only a few hundred metres away within Southfield Industrial Estate, where the relationship with CRC developed and the NTL and Telewest business developed.

Further investment by the company provided a Robot painting cell to handle the demands for the Sony Radio/CD exchanger unit being used in the Ford Focus car.

In a fast moving market place the Directors fully understand the customers needs and how to achieve the necessary high quality finishes required, which undoubtedly gives added value to the end products being processed.
